Some projects we've worked on:

Bolton Street Cemetery Concept Design, 2021

Client: Friends of Bolton Street Cemetery (in consultation with Wellington City Council Parks Department)

We were asked by the Friends of Bolton Street Cemetery to give the existing exhibition a face lift. Walking through the cemetery we realised that the gravemarkers all focus on how and when someone died. We've responded by developing a concept design that highlights the lives of the people buried in the cemetery and those who have been connected to it through the last 150 years.

This exhibition is currently in development.

Sister of Compassion Visitor Centre, 2018

Client: Sisters of Compassion, working with 3D Creative

We looked for ways to actively let the visitor set the tone in this exhibition on the Sisters of Compassion. By tugging on the bellpull as you enter the exhibition, visitors are treated to the sound of the church bell in Hiruhārama (Jerusalem) – the Sister’s home mission on the Whanganui River. Striking images and stories of individual sisters were used to personalise the Sisters and their devotion to their mission without making them feel like a cliche.
The interpretation was focused around a set of core values which ensured that the stories told connected with both the visitor and the Compassion organisation.

Are We There Yet? Women and Equality in Aotearoa, 2018

Client: Auckland Museum, working also with FigureNZ

We developed displays for the "data" section of the Auckland Museum exhibition "Are We There Yet? Women and Equality in Aotearoa." This section presented facts in "black and white" on issues women face such as body image, legal rights, sexual assault and equal pay. We worked closely with FigureNZ to ensure the statistics we presented were accurate and objective, while still making some compelling points about gender equality in New Zealand.
